Hello world! I decided to give this whole blogging thing a try. I was chating over google+ with Kate from read wear write about writing links and camp NaNoWriMo and such. Anyways she told me “You know, that could be a reason for you to start a writing blog–to initially keep track of Camp NaNo progress. I bet once you regularly write posts throughout June, you’d be inspired to keep a regular blog.” So I was like you know why not. Since she used wordpress I decided to use them as well since it seems to be a nice blogging site that had some nice themes I can use easily and would not cost me anything.
As I mentioned I am planing on participating in Camp NaNoWriMo in this coming month. Only a few more days left. Having a hard time waiting for Friday June 1st to come so I can actually start my new novel plot tribble that seems to be nagging me.
Camp NaNoWriMo will be going on for two months this year. The first month is June just a few days away now. Then we have a month off to plan for the next camp in August. It is a good thing there will be a month off as if November was any indications I will need a week break and my novel will not be done yet even if I do win this thing. besides i still haven’t plan what story I will be doing for August, so mannny ideas and so little time.
Thank you all for stopping by and taking the time to read everything. Hope you all will come back and don’t be afraid to speak up. Remember “the only dumb question is the one never asked.”
I’m glad you started a blog, and thank you for linking me in your post. 🙂
That’s awesome that you are planning to do both June and August, I didn’t know that! So far, I have only committed to June, but I’ve been considering that if it goes well (it better!) then maybe I can commit to Camp NaNo in August as well. Best of luck to you!
No thanks needed. I am a firm believer in giving credit when due and you were who encouraged me to give blogging a try. Besides I could think of no better way to let people know who had encouraged me then to link to your blog. To me it was a no brainier I just had to link you.
Well I have all these plot ideas if I don’t commit to do something in August I will never get them started. Besides I might just rebel in August to finish my current WIP from NaNo November’11 and from this camp. If my current WIP novel isn’t any indications even if I win camp the story will not be finished and they might never get done and into full editing if I don’t rebel ether August or this coming November.
Luck to you as well in Camp this coming month.
Good Luck at Camp and with your novel…its always good to have a fellow camper and blogger around
Thanks MJ, good luck to you too.
Since this is going to be a Camp NaNo blog, would you mind if I add you to my list of bloggers writing about Camp? ~Raine
Sure thing Raine, I don’t mind you listing my Blog. Good luck to you in Camp too.

Well kind of. First day I had done double the min which was lucky as yesterday I was so busy when I did get time to write my ideas could not find the words so word count was real low only 122 and then today my computer is on fritz so I’m handwriting things right now while trying to fix it
I saw your post on the Campfire Circle about your blog, and it led me here! Good luck with Camp. 🙂
